The job description seemed pretty entry-level: High School degree or equivalent, 1-2 years of previous hospitality experience, and administrative skills. The interview process, however, was excessive. Three different rounds (one 15-minute call and two video calls) were conducted, and they requested four referrals: two from previous managers and two from peers. Being ghosted by HR, even after following up, was the cherry on top of the whole process.

The interview was very straightforward, two interviews before the final decision. Everyone I spoke with was very open to answering any questions I may have had about the role. There was a bit of a waiting period but nothing too extreme.
