I applied online. I interviewed at Slalom (London, England) in May 2022
Interview
Sent application online and interviewer emailed me asking my availability in the week to discuss the job in more detail and I provided a time and date.
I was waiting ten minutes past the scheduled time for the phone call and decided to email asking whether we had an interview today. I received a reply apologising that the wrong time had been written down in their calendar and they would contact me in an hour.
I had researched the job and company , yet was not given any questions regarding this and the interviewer spoke for the most part. I had a problem answering a question and mentioned I was on the Asperger's spectrum.
The interviewer said they had little knowledge about data analysis and when I asked what the next steps would be, replied I would be taken to the next stage and be emailed by the end of the day.
However, I received no email so emailed back asking for some feedback to be told that after consulting with the team I would not be progressed.

Question 1
Which are your favourite analytical tools?
What are your salary expectations?
The whole process ends abruptly at 15 min because the Talent Acquisition only care about checklisting its candidate.
Everyone tells me how good the interview experience is, but I felt a different way.
This is a data viz position, without explicitly specificing on Job Description, you basically pigeon holed your candidates for asking someone who can do engineering stuff and back-end development.
Additionally, ignoring your candidates is a awful action. Candidates spend more than a day to prepare for an interview, it only takes recruiters 5 min to tell them if they are accepted or rejected. If you don't like to proceed the process then just tell them they are not qualified, rather than ignoring them. I don't get it why Slalom get a rate of 4/5+ but is this how a 4/5+ company deal things with their candidates? Afeef you need some help, seriously, you are an employee of Slalom just like I am to my company. We are equal here, me come in as an candidate to a job at Slalom, doesn't mean that you are higher than me and can act like a dishonorable person.
I'm so sorry that your experience was not better. We do aim to give feedback to candidates and have a better candidate experience than what you've shared. We appreciate the feedback and will take it back to our teams as an example of where we missed the mark.
