Really positive experience, quick responses and always kept in the loop with updates. Offer came in very quickly after the last interview. Two rounds of interviews (not including the initial HR screener)

I was initially told this position was filled. Then someone reached out to me asking if I was still interested and that they would be opening another product manager position. When I said yes, I was told that they would get back to me with more information 3 different times with a different date each time. This ended with them - upon being prompted by me again - telling me they’re no longer hiring for that position. Normally I would be unbothered by this but please don’t reach out and especially don’t give a timeline if you aren’t certain the position is open. A lot of people are out of a job as a result of the pandemic and now is not the time to give false hope. All that said, the recruiter seems nice enough and I’m certain this was not deliberate.
