      Analyst Interview

      16 Sept 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Silicon Valley Bank in Jul 2022

      Interview

From beginning to end this process took 6 weeks. I was told during my recruiter screen that I would have a recruiter screen, a formal interview with a manager and a 2nd interview broken into 2, with 2 separate people. I passed the screen, 1st formal interview & 2nd interview(s). While waiting to hear if I got the job, I was told there was a surprise final interview with an additional manager. I took this as good news and tried to stay positive even though it was already 5 weeks in. On the day of the final interview they told me they were cancelling the final interview because they didn’t know if they needed an additional person for this position. I was told the entire time (even after the interview was cancelled) that the interviews went well. Either they didn’t want me and refrained from saying that or they have a completely convoluted process that drags out for weeks on end. Do not recommend.
