The interview process was all done remotely. I first received two emails: one to complete an initial online test that lasted an hour and the other email was to book an introductory call. The online test had a deadline and consisted of editing, retouching tests as well as general knowledge of celebrities.
The introductory call was hard to schedule as the recruiter cancelled several times. I was told this was due to the COVID pandemic but I didn't have a scheduling problem with other companies I was interviewing for, which might give some indication of how the company copes with changes. As a mostly digital company, I was surprised at how transitioning to working from home seemed to disrupt them so much. The call itself was fine, I was asked to talk about myself and my goals and was briefed about the current state of the team and what they're trying to achieve going forward.
I was then told that I did exceptionally well on the first test and was moving on to the next stage which was another test that lasted 2 hours, which consisted of timed image editing and retouching.
I passed this test too and but was not given any feedback on why I didn't get the position.
I enjoyed the tests/tasks and felt I would really enjoy the position itself but felt shorthanded with the lack of feedback after putting time and effort into the interviews.
