30 min call with recruiter 30 min meeting with hiring manager 1 hour technical assessment (python / sql) 3 hour panel interview I crushed the first three rounds of the interviews but had a horrendous experience when going into the panel interviews. First, I had to carve out 3 hours of my day for this and 3 of the 4 people I was supposed to meet with showed up late or not at all. One interviewer was 8 minutes late for the 30 minute chat and repeatedly talked about how they were distracted by wedding activities. Another person was 6 minutes late for the 30 minute chat and clearly pulled basic coding questions off google and did not like when I tried to tie the conversation back to what the data needs at the company are. The person that was a no show was the chief data officer and I never had a chance to meet with him. That was very disrespectful of my time since I had already invested so much in the process. Ultimately I went into that panel extremely excited about the opportunity and left knowing I would very much not like to work here.
