I applied online. I interviewed at Schneider (Green Bay, WI) in Mar 2018
Interview
All on the phone. If you have a CDL, and no violations you are in. But, don't be fooled, Schneider like most of the other trucking companies receive federal money to locate and hire CDL drivers. So your initial training and subsistence at their sites are paid by your tax dollars. This could be a good-thing if only the companies using it were trustworthy in their pay and salary decleration.
The Interview process was easy it was no longer than fifteen minutes simple questions if you have any basic experience you should have nothing to worry about that’s my personal experience
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Schneider (Charlotte, NC) in Feb 2023
Interview
The recruiter had a lot of information. She said that a recruiter in our area would contact us. Explained hourly pay for us. Waiting the the other recruiter to call back.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Experienced? Other experience? (Both driving and not).
Phone interview with recruiter. Basically just goes over your application to confirm everything. May ask about previous jobs. Pretty simple and doesn’t take long. Just be honest when filling out your application and have clean background/driving record and you will qualify for the position.
