The interview process was very positive. There was a screening call with a HR rep and two interview rounds. The first interview was on Google Meet with HR and the line manager, and felt like an introductory meeting and culture fit assessment, with some competency-based questions. The second interview was on-site with the line manager and Deputy Head of Comms, and incurred a task wherein I had to create an omnichannel marketing campaign and present it, then answer questions based on my work.
The experience was positive up until the offer stage. They offered a lower salary than my minimum salary expectation, despite informing me early in the process that it was within the budget for the role. They declined to increase it when I informed them that I had other offers on the table. I asked for 3 days to think it over and they would only allow me 2. After respectfully declining the offer and wishing them the best in filling the role, I never received a response.
