Very easy. No one asked difficult questions. I had to pinch myself. I was applying for a snr role, yet there was nothing of depth to anything I was asked.
Started with a screening call from the internal HR recruiter. He spent most of the call convincing me the company was worth joining. Vague assurances were made about benefits etc (none that were ever upheld).
I then met the manager for a 1:1 interview. It was very informal and not difficult. I was invited back for a second panel interview and presentation. I couldn't believe it. No one in the room listened to me. They were all on their phones or laptops working! So rude. I challenged this when I later joined the business. Apparently this was to see how people responded when faced with the 'RingCentral way'. It's true, arrogance, rudeness and shallow thinking are the norm. Their questions at the end were so simple and obvious it was clear they were not listening.
Finally I had an interview with the managing director. He spent most of the call talking about how wealthy he was. It was very simple.
I wish, with hindsight, I'd realised that a business as poor at recruiting and treating people as this is not going to be a positive place to work. I'm looking for another job.
