      AI Engineer Interview

      14 Oct 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Provectus in Sept 2025

      Interview

      1) Screening interview 2) Technical interview with a team lead. 1.5h. We discussed my skills, projects. Then, a set of technical questions. Then, a 30-minute task, where you can use any AI you want, but you need to make the code work and then explain the solution. 3) Cultural Fit -> how you act during different situations 4) Final interview with the Head of Department -> partially technical, partially about your experience and skills. The overall attitude was very friendly, and the process was fast. The ridiculous part was that only during the 4th round did the company realise that I didn't have enough experience (even though the technical interview went great!). Somehow, the order of the interviews doesn't make sense. The company saves the time of the Head of Department, but wastes the time of the candidates...
