I passed the first screening and was asked to take the Global Reasoning Test in two days. After taking the exam, I wasn't given my test scores, instead I received this e-mail:
'Dear Applicant,
Our deepest thanks for the time you have invested in exploring a Procter & Gamble career.
However, we are sorry to inform you that we cannot push forth with your application. P&G is a very unique place, with its very distinct set of criteria and competencies, which help define the kind of people that we are looking for. At the end of our assessments, what we really look for is fit – the fit of each candidate into P&G’s very distinct corporate personality.
At every stage of the application process, what we aim to provide people is a frank assessment of their fit within the company. We believe that hiring people who may not fit will only set up the individual for possible failure, and waste precious time they could have spent in a company where they would succeed.
Hence, do not take this as an absolute evaluation of your skills, talents, knowledge, or behavior. We truly appreciate the interest that you have shown in our company and we wish you all the best in your pursuit of a successful career.'
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Hong Kong)
