I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Boston, MA) in Feb 2017
Interview
I interviewed as a consultant in 2017. The first round was on the phone with a case interview, which was very simple. I was overthinking it at first, but the answer was just thinking about different ways a credit card company makes money. The fit questions were standard, and the interviewers were very friendly.
The second round was really fun! Some discussions and chatting with partners and other employees about my previous roles. I got to nerd out about a pet coding project I had. The presentation case was super fun. Thinking about what a government should do to improve the quality of life of its citizens, with some simple math. It was stressful, of course… but if you just relax and be yourself and have fun with solving problems, you’ll be okay.
it was smooth but you need to work hard on your calculations skills, i failed in this part of the case because the calculator is not allowed and i had not familiarize myself with it before the interview but overall it was a good experience

Question 1
tell me about yourself, why consulting and the case question
I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Milan) in May 2026
Interview
Pre-selection with one mini-case/brain teaser of 30 min. Overall, the case was testing both numerical reasoning and logics I would say. If you prepare the mini cases correctly you can pass.
Interviewers never attended on time. Rescheduled 7 times. Cases were easy relative to other firms. They dont take candidates very seriously so prepare for that. Personal questions include why OW?
