I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Ankara) in Nov 2008
Interview
The application process requires, a cavering letter, a CV, and some basic answers on educational background. If your application is successful, the consultancy will invite you to parttake in two rounds of interviews. Consultancies employ two different type of interviews, case studies and fit interview, Case studies require a candidate to work through a problem set by the interviewer, to display their reasoning and numerical abilities. The interviews are designed to test how you react to a problem and how much you knew beforehand. Fit interviews are CV based interviews, they look for charecteristics that suggest you would fit in well with the firm's values. The first round of interview is generally shorter, consisting of a case study and a fit interview. If you are successful then will be invited to attend a "super suturday" where you will have 5 interviews, 3 case studies and 2 fit interviews. There is always a dinner for those interviewing afterwards, and the firm will tell you whether they are going to offer you a job or not by the next day.
An online assessment (Math and Behavioral) followed by 1 group HR interview and 3 case interviews. You have to pass each case interview to move into the next one. Cases mainly focused on market sizing skills.
I applied online. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Dubai) in Jun 2025
Interview
There was an online assessment, followed by an HR interview. I did not pass the HR interview, however I found it to be underwhelming. Compared to other interviews, no emphasis was placed on actually finding out who you are and how you would fit in to the organization.
