I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Old Navy (New York, NY) in Nov 2013
Interview
I got called for a interview Tuesday to come in on Thursday at 5pm. I was told to bring in a item I was passion about, so I brought in a picture. I was a half an hour early so I did a scope around the store(just to spare time), then I told one of the employees that I was waiting for a interview at 5pm. While I was waiting 7 other people arrived, and at 5 they started. They first did a tour around the store showing us as to where men's babies and women then we went in the back to finish the rest of the interview. They first gave us the history on old navy and where is started as well as to what's the company about. Then they told us to discuss what we brought in (what is our passion?) after that we played the game with dice. The first dice was what clothes was we gonna grab from the store and the second was who was we going to sell it too which was pretty cool. Then she told us that if they was interested in us that they was going to give us a call back.
I got a callback to meet with the store manager and it was going to be one on one interview on Monday . We discussed basically naming a time where you had to be a leader? What mistakes have you made that you learnt from? Describe a time where I was proud of myself? How do you feel about working with different company's? A lot of leadership questions but he said by Wednesday he was going to give me a call. By Tuesday I was hired

Interview
Applied through simplyhired.com. got an email for their hiring event. Went. The first interview was a quick and brief interview at a table with questions like tell me about yourself. Then went on to the next phase. A group activity we had to see our outfit we had on. Then then either sent you home or you went on the the final interview stage
It was a group interview with several people, about 5 to 8 others, and one manager doing the interviewing. He asked basic interview questions to get to know everyone and to test their skills.
