    Former Employee - Lead Cashier

I worked at Old Navy part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The managers were always nice and they do their best to make it a fun environment. I made friends with all my managers in both stores I worked at and it made the experience of retail a little less dreadful.

    Cons

Not much room to grow and the raises aren't much, but most retail work is like that. Sometimes the technology breaks down and the signs are misleading which causes angry customers. If you're a lead cashier its a lot more work for not that much more pay. There is also no commission for opening up credit cards.

I have been working at Old Navy part-time

    Pros

The hours aren't great if your looking for a full-time job, but perfect if your a student. People are mostly cool.

    Cons

There is favoritism from the top, so some people will get better treatment from that alone
