I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Old Navy (Arlington Heights, IL) in Feb 2011
Interview
First of all, work at Old Navy is a lot of fun because of the employees. When you get asked to come in for an interview in may be alone or in a group depending on how many people they are looking to hire at the time. Usually they're not going to have six people come in for a group interview if they're only hiring one person. So don't worry you have a chance! They look for someone who gets along with everyone else, so don't interrupt other people or be rude. Also, they like younger people for sales associates because they'll stay there for longer. So even if you don't plan on staying long, make sure you stress that you want to work there for at least a few years. Also, if you have any sort of experience, ask for a raise from your last job in your one on one interview!
Easy, Someone called me after I applied to set up interview. I went in and met with the store manager. I only had one interview and offered the next day!
