      Business Process Analyst III Interview

      27 Jan 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Austin, TX
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Austin, TX) in Apr 2010

      Interview

One phone interview followed by a face to face in a room of 5 interviewers. It wasn't extremely technical nor difficult as I drove the majority of the questions. I got the impression that they just wanted to get to know me. The phone interview was much more difficult and was probably what got me in the door just to verify I was presentable and able to work with the client. In the phone interview, most of the questions were situational and asking how I handle certain situations.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked about my experience with agile and RUP methodoligies. Having negative experiences with both, and not being a good liar, I was forced to be honest about my experiences. In hindsight, I do think my honesty and ability to explain why my experiences were negative was what impressed my interviewers.
