I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2018
Interview
The initial phone call was to get a feel of my personality and skills. It was not technical however.
Since this went well I met at their office in Atlanta.
Once there I was taken into a dark room by the Project Manager and Senior Developer. We sat down introduced our selves and then they grilled me about my resume. They went over it with a fine tooth comb and that where the technical questions were pulled from.
They also talked a lot about my personal projects and projects I did in college.
I only white boarded a little bit and it was mostly just SQL questions.
While interviewing their boss came in to let them know she was leaving to take care of her child, so I said hi.
After about an hour, maybe an hour thirty, The interview finished.
About a week or so later they called me and offered me my job.
My asking price was around 55k and they gave me 62k so there was no reason for me to say no.
