I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Spokane, WA) in Sept 2008
Interview
I met with the HR Manager for my initial interview, and then received a call from the Cosmetics Department Manager to schedule an interview. I interviewed with the counter manager and with the Department Manager simultaneously, and came back a second time for one final interview, where I was told what line I was being considered for, and if I was willing to work for that line, and what the expectations were, etc.
