I did an application in January '16. About 4 months later, I received an email asking to do a video interview(I hate those! I get so nervous!!!) in April from HireVue. Then next day, I received an email asking to call Nordstrom's hr hotline to schedule an in person interview. I called and the person that I spoke to told me that it was a part time position. No where in the job description say that this was a part time job. I expressed my concern and the lady said that sometimes there are more opportunities for additional hours. I agreed and set up an interview for a week later. The store was very nice and the employees were all very nice and looked pretty happy. I got a pretty short interview, asking the standard questions. The interviewer had mini booklette of about 3 pages with front and back filled with questions. I expressed my concerns for more hours from the beginning as I already had a full time job. He told me that there are opportunities for more hours. After the question portions, he took me on a tour of the stock room, the store, and then he said he'd call the next business day to tell me if I got the job or not. I was offered the job a week after the interview due to background taking a long time.
