I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley in Aug 2009
Interview
Pretty straightforward interview process. They came to my business school campus and I sent in my resume and cover letter. I had previously connected with an executive in their office and did quite a bit of schmoozing. This helped me out quite a bit. The interview didn't touch too much upon finance but it was more of a fit interview looking at how serious I would be about pursuing the opportunity on a full-time basis.
I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (New York, NY) in Oct 2024
Interview
Hirevue, first round with an associate, second round with a VP, final with an MD. All in all not bad if you prepare well enough. All of the free resources online will help a lot

Question 1
Describe investment banking to someone who's never heard of it
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley (Hong Kong) in Jul 2024
Interview
Overall good experience and professional questions asked. However I think I wasn’t given enough time for some of the more complicated questions. HireVue format also a bit annoying, but the questions make you feel like the company cares for your growth.

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Morgan Stanley
Interview
Attended recruiting events and followed-up with speakers on team/office preference. Then had two coffee chat interactions and was selected for a superday interview where I met with 10+ bankers. Questions were both technical and behavioral. Recieved a call within an hour of completing the interview to inform me that I had recieved an offer.
