Thank you for this feedback, this was a second round of interview.
We do things thoroughly to ensure we hire the right people for the role, so we do ask candidates to prepare a thorough presentation to assess their capabilities for the role.
We also ask two colleagues to interview the candidate in a panel and make a united decision to proceed with the hire. This is in response to previous bad reviews, we have tightened up all of our processes internally.
We only invited two candidates for the second interview, and you were one of those candidates.
It was unfortunate you did not succeed in the role, and the other candidate won the role and the position is now closed.
I don't thank you for your work, as we don't use the work that candidates bring, and they are not successful, we destroy the work.
We do take forward the work with the candidates that are successful for the role.
We know the answers for the tests that we set the candidates so we are just probing and analysing the candidates capability.
We wish you all the success in finding the right role and we are sorry that you felt this way after the interview.
