First thing they tell me is that the position, which was advertised EVERYWHERE as remote, is not actually remote but is in person in CHICAGO, several hundred miles away from me. They ask me if that's ok. I say NO, the position is listed as REMOTE, and they know that. They said they had no idea, so I asked why they would mention it's not remote if they had no idea. They stuttered like buffoons and had no idea what to say. I yelled at them about how they have to stop lying on their job advertisements like this and they apologized. Also, they demanded I turned my webcam on despite none of them having it on (LOL). So I demanded they turned theirs on and one of them did, but just for a second, and the other said his wasn't working.
Anyway, I said let's continue the interview and they said no, since you're not willing to work in person. I said I was (I lied) just so I could get some interview practice. Destroyed all of their interview questions and wasted an hour of their time and then told them I was just using them for practice. Good time, TERRIBLE company.
