I was initially contacted by a recruiter by phone about a week after I applied online asking if I was available for a phone interview in four days. I filled out an online application with work, education, military, and residential history for the past seven years prior to the interview. The phone interview was with the hiring manager and the hiring manager's supervisor. The questions were challenging but could be answered in the STAR format. Following the interview, I didn't hear back for over three weeks until the recruiter called to tell me I was offered the position. Upon acceptance of the offer, a background check and drug test was conducted prior to receiving a start date.
