Interview
The interview process for the CLDP took place over the course of 2+ months, culminating in a visit to the HQ in Bethesda. First was a phone/Skype interview, which only about 25 applicants out of ~300 are selected for, then out of those 25 they choose 9-12 to come to HQ for a panel interview and networking reception. Out of those final few, they choose 3-4 to hire.

Interview
Started with a detailed online application, got an email several months later asking me to select a time to complete a Skype interview. At the end of such interview they mentioned that I was now only one of 20 candidates and interviewing for a chance to be one of 10 to complete an in person interview.

Interview
Submitted resume, cover letter and two writing samples after two employees visited my university. I also attended an information session on campus. I was selected to have a phone interview out of a large pool of applicants. The next step would have been to go to a face-to-face interview in DC if I had continued. I had a positive experience on the phone with two employees. I asked for feedback and they happily gave it to me, so I could improve my phone interview skills for any other job I applied for. Great experience!
