Interview
The KSA long-form questions in the USAJOBs online application are almost exactly the same as those asked in the interview. During the interview, they spend a lot of time writing down your answers and it is not very conversational. You do have an opportunity to ask questions at the end, which is a good way to share more about yourself as well. It takes many months and paperwork to get through and is a very formal process. They really can't share much with you during the various stages, either.

Interview
Fairly straightforward interview. Asked questions that followed the KSAs in the job posting fairly closely. There were follow-up questions, and they were all in good humor. People were straightforward about the job and its responsibilities.
