      Full Stack Developer Interview

      11 Jul 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LeanIX

      Interview

Very very bad experience. Generally, I did 4 Rounds with Team Manager, two technical Interviews and Talk with the director. After the 4th Round the said, that I will be hired, because I passed all Interviews. They offered me to switch to another position, because it could be a better fit for my profile. From then on, I had 3 more interviews and ended up receiving an email that they will continue with other candidates. No explanation of what happened. 7 Interviews, 3 Roles, passed all tests and then rejection with not Information at all. So sad it turned out this way and honestly very disappointed by how it was handled. All Interviewers were nice during all conversations though.

I applied online. I interviewed at LeanIX in Jan 2025

      Interview

First off, let me say—I’m not bitter about not being accepted. Rejections happen, and that’s totally fine. What’s not fine is spending an hour in an interview where the main takeaway was, “You don’t actually want to work here.” The first round with the talent acquisition team? Absolutely great! Professional, engaging, and made me feel excited about the opportunity. But then came round two, aka "50 Minutes of Why You Shouldn’t Work Here." Here’s a breakdown: 🕒 Minute 1-10: Standard small talk, plus a thrilling game of “Will the interviewer show up?” Spoiler: He did. Eventually. 🎤 Minute 11: The classic “Why do you want to leave your job?” question. I answered, “For career growth and learning opportunities.” Rookie mistake. 🤯 Minute 12-60: The plot twist—turns out my biggest challenge wasn’t passing a technical interview, but surviving a philosophical debate on why my own career goals were wrong. The interviewer passionately explained that: With SAP LeanIX, I will learn absolutely nothing. My eagerness to grow will shrivel up and die. I’ll regret my choices and leave anyway. Because it is my dream company and I really wanted to get a chance at the technical round really badly, I tried to convince him that I can still learn within LeanIX and I am a committed person and it is indeed my dream company. So, just to clarify: I applied, got selected, and spent an hour being convinced not to join? Bold strategy. Final Verdict: Would I recommend this experience? Only if you enjoy self-doubt as a service. 🚀
