I applied online. I interviewed at Illumina in Aug 2020
Interview
Got an email about two weeks after applying requesting an interview. Had a 30 min phone interview with a lady from HR, asking personal questions. Was then called back for a second interview on bluejeans in front of a hiring panel. The questions were asking about my experiences and testing how much I knew about the company and their functions. I thought the interview went very well, but never heard back, even after emailing them. I thought it was very rude. Even if I didn't get the role, they should have the decency to let me know, especially after two interviews.

Interview
They asked for a video one way interview which was strange. Feels like the manager does not have the time or cares enough about the process to do the interview themselves.
Talent acquisition asked standard questions but couldn’t tell me much about the specifics of the team or role. Would imagine that would have been more of a hiring manager task.
