The interview was pretty smooth. Multiple sections - JS interview - Algorithm & Data structure interview - System design (Frontend type) - Behavioral My interviewers were very kind and friendly. Too bad it didn't work out. They sound like amazing folks to work with.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HubSpot (London, England) in Sept 2024
Interview
Had an online screening interview with their recruiter who's based in Ireland. During my interview their kid came inside the room and they asked to pause while I was in the middle of talking about my experience. Felt like I did well to explain my skills and experience but they seemed hesitant after I told them I'm currently based outside of UK although I mentioned that I have a valid working Visa and relocating back to UK wouldn't be an issue. Their excuse was that they need to hire quickly for the role - initially they said by the end of the year but switched to before November. They said they will communicate with their manager and get back to me with an assessment whether or not they will proceed with me for the next round. It's been a week already and I have not heard any decision back from them.
