Had a brief chat with a tech recruiter. Interview was very nice and relaxed. Then I was handed a code assignment which was expected to be finished within 3 hours (you could start whenever you wanted, even days later, but after started, there is a rigid 3 hour window to complete the assignment). The assignment is not rocket science, but it is hard to finish within 3 hours. I have completed in 4 hours. As I failed the 3 hour limit, Hubspot did not proceed to the next round of interviews.
