I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Hertz (Freeport, NY) in Feb 2014
Interview
After I applied, it took about a week to get called in for an interview. I was nervous, of course, but after I spoke with the branch manager for some time, I was at ease and the manager seemed to be really impressed. I was told to come in for an interview a few days later with the area manager. I felt I wasn't at my best for the second interview. After a week had passed with no notice, I thought for sure I didn't get the job. A little over two weeks after the AM interview, I got a call from the branch manager basically asking me to plead my case as to why I thought I could do the job. Needless to say, I plead my case and got the job. I think they had a prime candidate they wanted to hire but he must have flaked out and I was the runner up. Ultimately, I am still working for the company and enjoy it.
The interview was pretty smooth, it was more like a chat with the interviewer. I got asked basic interview questions however I thought that because it was a trainee position.

Question 1
What will you do if you're done with your tasks for the day and still had some time at work ?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hertz (Rockville, MD) in Oct 2025
Interview
I applied for this position 1 week before I got a email from a recruiter asking for my resume because "She couldn't see it on her end". Understandable technology messes up sometime cool. I sent her a email with my resume attached and apologized for the inconvenience (knowing damn well it aint my fault) and she didn't respond 3 days later I called her phone number courtesy of her email signature. She apologized and sent me a interview link...... Had the interview with the branch manager seemed like a nice interview. He asked me questions and I answered to the best of my ability, I asked him questions about the day to day and he answered and we ended the call with him giving my his email stating if i had more questions to email him. I send him a Thank you Email about 5 mins later and get no response. 5 days later I go on the Hertz portal to see if they had any other locations a bit closer to me because the location I applied for didn't and instead I find the job I just interviewed for saying I wasn't selected. It would've been nice to have gotten an email so I didn't have to put other applications on hold

Question 1
Tell me about your pervious employment and your day to day at that location
terrible process, was too many interviews and to many questions for a MT job. They took to long to get back with me, and would not give the reasons why I was not hired.
