    I worked at Hertz

    Pros

    The commission's are decent and if you are willing to do basic sales, you can make decent money. Also what you're good, you can make more. The people you work with on your right and left are pretty good people and the shift leads are solid regardless of their attitude.

    Cons

    It is clicky. Some of the management literally sucks and no one will do anything about it. Plus as long as someone is making money for the company They won't get in trouble for doing unethical things ( Unless someone makes a big deal about it and which case they will fire you for something stupid and Tiny just because someone made an issue about it.) And They Don't Really follow up and reward you when you do positive things or make sure that you get all of your Awards wins and accolades.... Also, they keep changing the commission structure and it's pretty clear. They're trying to maximize money for the company, but it is also clear that they are willing to take money out of your pocket to do it.

    Make great relationship and ability to network.

    Cons

    For a large company, benefits could be better. Many systems to work off of are and very cumbersome. Difficult to get work done when processes continue to change

    I have been working at Hertz full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The best reasons to work at Hertz is the close knit community between the branches in a region to coordinate fleet movement and the ability to receive support when requested. Other pros include the long list of benefits and discounts received from our partnerships with other organizations and companies. Great employee discount when renting out vehicles. Variety of customers to work with and overall pleasant.

    Cons

    The downsides are centered around the companies lack of proper staffing in locations and the high overturn of employees shifting to different locations. The instability of allowing new reservations when there might not be a car to match that reservation passes down to employees at the frontline, dealing with berating customers and the emotional toll of having to deal with entitled customers is just the cream on the top. The long hours as a result of short staffing prevent staff from cashing in on vacation time without incurring increased demand and loss of service to customers.
