The process took 3 months. I interviewed at H&M in Apr 2015
Interview
Applied 6 months ago. After inquiring about my application for a few months I finally was approached by a manager for an interview. The interview was pretty simple. One-on-one. I was asked to fill out a background check: usually that's a good sign so all seemed well. 5 weeks past and each week I would call or stop by the store for a follow up. I received a voicemail stating that my information would be on file for a few months in the event that something opens, but that there were no available positions. Yet the store was hiring for multiple positions according to the career section on their website and the hiring ad in the main entrance of the store. Sounded more like a rude way of saying they didn't want to offer a position.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H&M
Interview
It was a group interview. They asked us about fashion and what we know about H&M and it’s background. We also had a task in groups to come up with good answers to the questions given, we also had to present.
It was a group interview, we did group tasks like styling people for different occasions and answering . It was pretty focused on the company values and if you have a love for fashion.

Question 1
Style a customer who came in looking for an outfit for a job interview, their personal style is 'streetwear'
It was a group interview, about 8 of us. We had to basically work together on different scenarios and answer the questions the manager asked us. She also put us on the spot and individually asked us questions. I got 'who inspires you the most.'
