I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Guidewire (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
It began with a two hour codility programming exercise with two questions that were pretty fun to solve and were pretty unique. They test a lot of areas like ability to use different data structures and also can be used to see how intuitive you are in tackling a given problem. I had a lot of fun solving these.
After this you're invited to do a video interview (Technical) with one of their employees, you go through various questions starting with the basics of JAVA and then onto others like SQL, databases and even some questions on the final year project. At the end you get to solve another technical problem like you were shown during codility that you work on an online collaborative editor.
After this stage, you get invited to do a 3 hour on-site interview. You get to meet people that work there and also get a tour of their offices. The interview consists of three parts, technical, cultural and one with a hiring manager. The technical interview was similar to the online video interview and you get to solve problems on the whiteboard - this one is more collaborative however and you're working with your interviewer on solving these problems. The cultural and hiring manager interviews are very similar, they talk to you about the company, the roles and also talk about yourself, your cv and your plans and ambitions and discuss on why you want to work at guidewire and assess you on your ability to work with customers and colleagues. Be prepared for questions that assess your 'closeness' to their three core values and make sure you sell yourself as someone who adheres to those values.
The interviewers are really nice people - it's like talking to a friend and solving issues together - don't be nervous.
I got a job offer from another company so I had to withdraw my application before I could get a response.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Guidewire (Blanchardstown) in Mar 2014
Interview
Phone interview was very comfortable. No tricky questions. Based mostly on a CV and experience. Than the on line code test. 3 Java questions. Medium level. College graduate should be able to do them in 3-4 hours. Very details oriented. Data base and SQL, JMS, and Bad code. Unit tests are good idea. Best practices will get you points.
