The recruiter who was in charge of my process was completely incompetent and careless. She did not follow up with me every time after an interview and did not answer any questions I had each time. I did not get any info about the Bluejeans before it even though I reached out to her asking about the info many times. Then I ended up interviewing with a team I did not apply to during the Bluejeans. The process was chaotic and a complete waste of time.

- Initial round with hiring manager. - You get ghosted for months. - 3 more coding rounds. - 1 super-day. - Frivolous additional round after the “final” round. The problems were mostly LC hard and the interviewers will refuse to answer questions about the role, the job at large, give clarity on the tech stack, or give you any time to have a meaningful discussion. Please also understand they will do everything to stiff you. The recruiter somehow gets in touch AFTER finishing interviews, they refuse to negotiate, and if you’re their preferred candidate, know that it’s because they think you’re their cheapest option. Also zero disclosure of benefits, flexibility around WFH if needed, and no respect for candidates. They won’t even confirm bonus in writing in an offer. GS will deal in bad faith at every step of the process. As a further example, they opened the same role in a non-NYC location under the same team after refusing to offer that multiple times at the offer stage. Don’t apply even if you’re 100% desperate.
