      Master Instrument Technician Interview

      29 Apr 2009
      Anonymous employee
      South San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Genentech (South San Francisco, CA) in May 2007

      Interview

My initial interview was by phone and very short. I was then invited to the site for a full day of interviewing with approximatly six individuals and one group of three perspective co-workers. It took all day and I went from upper campus to lower campus and parts in between. The down side of this process is that it took three weeks for them to get back with me and then it seems that I was the one that kept the process moving. If I hadn't continued to call (after three weeks of no contact), I'm sure it would have taken longer.
