I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Garner Health Technology in Feb 2022
Interview
Nothing was rememberable about this company at all. I still dont understand quite what they do.
The take home coding challenge felt kind of exploitive and the requirements didnt match up to the testing results which you cant communicate with anyone about. (ie, list the results in order by score, but then the test case that you are not allowed to change doesnt have them listed by score)
I also think its weird that the coding challenge seems like their actual work and not a true gauge of someone's capabilities. Feels like you are helping them find a solution for someone else's job over 2 days and no experience with the company or their code base/style
Also the huge coding challenge came extremely early in the process after talking with 1 engineer who didnt seem to be senior or lead level. Followed by automated rejection email. Seems like they want to know and share as least about the candidate and themselves as possible and churn out code monkeys. Bad experience.

Question 1
build a heathcare/doctor rating system in 48 hours
Phone screening, then HM, then final round.
Not too difficult. Mostly around Garner as a start up and how/why you chose to apply with them. Vibe seems to be fast and quick page. Open communication and open feedback. Sounds like fast pace and want dedicated folks instead of just something consistent/stable.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Garner Health Technology in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview process was straightforward. I had 4 interviews. The first one was a phone screening, where they asked about my background and things of that nature. The second was an interview with the hiring manager, again just to get a sense of my background.
The third and fourth I had in the same day. The third was a technical interview that was "not leetcode style". I did a easy live coding interview that was health care focused.
The fourth was a more in depth interview about certain projects I've worked on and more technical questions.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Garner Health Technology in Oct 2024
Interview
Garner's interview process is very quick and efficient - I appreciate how quickly things moved. The interviews felt appropriate with what was outlined for the role, and everyone I interviewed with was easy to talk to. After receiving the offer, I also had an additional opportunity to chat with the hiring manager, which helped clarify remaining questions I had.
