First, I didn't want to have the leave a negative review. Part of it may be my fault.
Initially, I applied for first shift, aka an 8-5 on weekdays. Immediately, the person in the phone screen told me that people from the second shift and weekend shifts had moved up, so I told him I could do the second shift 12-9 every weekday instead. Looking back, I assume he thought okay, I've got other people who could do the weekend shift, so I'll give them the 2nd shift and tell this guy no thanks. However, he hasn't reached out or responded to any of my emails, all of which clearly give me some reason to respond. Now, I get it, garmin is a big company and I'm sure he gets bombarded with emails every day. I also get it that he could be upset that I didn't want to do the weekend. The thing is, I'm not gonna cry if you say no. Just tell me since you aren't willing to do the weekend shift, we can't proceed with the interview process any further. However, they are still posting the position for the first shift on their website currently. So, when in all likelihood, something changed between when I applied and spoke with someone, they are now willingly and knowingly falsely advertising a job that won't be at the specific time that it says in the description.
