I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Garmin (Sydney) in Apr 2017
Interview
The interview was a one-on-one which is something that I really do like, I did notice however they started doing group interviews so I do not know if this will be relevant. I did notice however when they began conducting group interviews a lot of people who actually attended the interviews would get up mid interview and just walk off. Although from my experience the interview process via one on one was very chilled. They really didn't know what they wanted to ask me as when they did hire me there human resources manager was on annual leave and essentially it was two men scratching their heads not knowing what to ask me.
Offered an online interview to save the fare as I live a long distance away. It was a fairly relaxed format which was fairly easy going and then seemed happy to clarify responses. Only criticism would be the "Any questions?" at the end felt a bit performative as they gave very basic answer and when I asked a follow up question, gave an even quicker an answer and said they had to go.
I applied online. I interviewed at Garmin (Bournemouth, England) in Jan 2024
Interview
Overall very quick not many questions asked which worried me a bit I felt like I had to lead the conversation at times but that’s fine . Mostly asked about consumer goods
Vague and misleading - you will be on the phone telling old people how to use their watch. Benefits overall good - interview process took 3 weeks with 4 interviews
