I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gap (Rancho Palos Verdes, CA) in Mar 2014
Interview
The interview was brief, but I actually enjoyed it. The manager was very nice, although when the interview began he asked about 50 question. Not surprising, but they were all straightforward. For example the most of the questions were about what to do in specific situations. Overall, the interview was not very stressful and it was a good experience.

Group interview with other candidates with the store manager. Arrive at the store and wait for other candidates. Then interview happens in break room and it lasted roughly about 30-60minutes
It was a group interview of about 10-12 people. If I remember correctly they take you to the back, the stock room, and ask almost everyone the same question. The interview lasted about 30 minutes.
It was very easy, one in person interview with the general manager and then I was accepted! Mainly personality and behavioral questions were asked, and I think enthusiasm on my end helped the most.
