I sent off my CV and Cover Letter for the position and within a few days was asked to complete an online Talent Simulations test. After completing this, I was invited to a telephone interview which consisted of motivational and competency questions. I would advise to develop and rehearse answers using the STAR technique.
Examples of questions asked were:
a) Why GE and what can you bring to us?
b) Tell me about a skill or language you have taught yourself and how?
c) Describe a challenging project you were involved in.
d) Describe your Microsoft Office skills.
