Applied through GE careers web site. Received call from GE consultant - had three rounds - technical/managerial/HR - relatively easy to crack. Interview becomes more difficult as you attempt for higher designations. The entire process took about 2 months from initial round to final. But at the end of it, it was worth it.

Pen and paper test in this digital age. Evaluation was pathetic, they rejected telling program was not correct though I have answered it correctly.
They need to make interview process transparent.

Very standard. The first interview is a screening phone interview to make sure you are coherent and have the basic qualifications for the position before moving on to people in the position.
