My first interview was a skype call with a recruiter and it went really well. She was very engaging and asked good questions about my experience. My second interview was with the CEO in her office. I thought it went well and she told me she was expecting to have the VP of Marketing (that this position would report to) start the following week and wanted to discuss my qualifications and fit with her. After sending a couple of follow up emails and waiting a month for an update, I finally emailed the CEO to ask what was going on. An hour later the HR contact responded and told me they were moving forward with another candidate. After this experience, I'm not sure I would have wanted to work there anyway.
