I have never felt so disrespected during the job interview process. Before any interview, not even a quick phone call with HR, I had to complete both an intelligence test and personality test. They send you tons of information to prepare for the intelligence test, which was very time-consuming and nerve-wracking. You only have 15 minutes to answer as many questions as possible, which I think only displays a very specific type of intelligence and should not be a barrier to an interview. Anyway, based on my practice test, I believe I performed well, but not stellar. But I'll never know! I didn't hear from them for over a week and had to follow-up, and then all I got was an automatic message saying they aren't moving on with my candidacy. It was completely dehumanizing with no sense of closure. I spent a lot of time preparing for this test, and I really doubt I bombed it. But they made me feel dumb and unwanted. I can only image what it's like to actually work for them.
