I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flex (Milpitas, CA)
Interview
Met with three hiring managers, answered questions and got to know everyone in a conference room called Edison, asked them a lot of questions throughout the whole process, got a tour of the campus in a golf cart and saw some of the amazing technology and research being developed at the facilities. Was called back a week later.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Technical questions required for the role, what equipment can you use, etc
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Flex (Milpitas, CA) in Mar 2022
Interview
The worst interview I have ever got.
I think this company needs to fire this recruiter or will lose good interview candidates.
*She wasn't a hiring manager, just a phone screening recruiter.
1. A recruiter from Flex called me directly without setting up a phone call schedule ahead. The phone screen was started without asking "is it a good time" or some.
2. I said hm-mhm for yes and she suddenly said "Don't say hm-mhm, say yes or no so that I can input the data to the system" in very rude tone. I thought it could be rude to her so I accepted.
3. I was in the middle of something when she called me (Because this phone screening wasn't set up ahead), so I got a unexpected text. I stopped responing for a second. she suddenly asked me "Are you googling now?" I was answering that how long expereince I had.
4. She kept asking me repeat my answer over and over. I noticed that she did it on purpose. I didn't see any meaning of this interview, soI said "I would like to give up this opportunity" and she said "Good luck" and hung up immediately.
I am not sure what just happened, but it was the worst experience I got. I won't apply for any position this company anymore since I see how they treat their candidate.
