I originally applied online for an investor relations positions.
I got a phone call from a recruiter fairly quickly asking if I had 30 min or so to speak. I didn't know that it was actually my first round interview.
He tried to gauge what kind of roles would fit me. In the end he decided that I would be better fit for more data type roles rather than sales roles and said we'd be in touch.
I got an invitation to the final round interview not too long after. I had another offer and they were respectful of the fact that I was in a time sensitive situation. They lined up an interview for me the following week. I was told I was going to talk to multiple groups that had an opening position but I wasn't told which groups I was going to meet.
The final round interview was from 1 PM - 5:30 PM.
I was the only interviewee that I saw at the time. Someone gave me a brief tour of the buildings and then i talked with 4 groups: Business Intelligence, annuities conversion, portfolio evaluations and investment operations.
The interviews felt relaxed and everyone was very friendly. Questions were mainly centered on my experiences and why Fisher.
They got back to me within that week with an offer for the group that I was most interested in.
