      Regional Sales Support Associate Interview

      2 Apr 2024
      Anonymous employee
      Seattle, WA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2024

      Interview

The interview process was the most organized I've ever encountered in any industry. I was given a detailed overview of exactly what to expect from start to finish– which was presented at the initial phone screen with the HR recruiter. But before the phone screen, I received an email notification (approx. 1 week prior to the phone screen) that my application was selected to move forward for interview. I provided my availability for the next two weeks, per the email request. Scheduling was very responsive throughout the whole process. After the phone screen, the HR recruiter presented notes to the team manager. Based on those notes, I guess the team manager decided to move forward with me to the next step because I received an email from the recruiter to arrange a virtual video interview with the team manager. The recruiter also included helpful material about the firm to review and consider. I highly advise to read and review this material, as it really helped prepare me for the next interview round. The team manager interview was scheduled for 3 weeks later. At the team manager interview, someone else was present on the video call but her face was not shown and she wasn't introduced. I believe this person was another team member who was there to take notes and provide an objective third-party perspective. I was told that the notes from the interview would then be reviewed by the department head/leader/VP. I suppose the department VP approved of the notes and feedback from the video interview, since I was invited via email to schedule the interview round (this time, directly with the VP). Interview was said to be via phone call and scheduled for another 3 weeks. Unbeknownst to me, the interview with the department VP was the final round. Based on the phone screen information, I thought I would have one more round after this. But I believe an extra round would only be arranged if the department VP is still on the fence about the decision. Fortunately, the outcome resulted in a good match, and I received an offer at the end of this round.
