The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FINRA in Nov 2009
Interview
Veryo casual conversation fowwledmby a series of structured questions to get a feel for how you will perform given different fact patterns. Staff seemed very knowledgeable about the industry and also very passionate about their mission. Ultimaely I did not get the job as they wound up hiring someone from within the organization.

Interview
The interview process was a bit long, but HR was very nice through it all. The first time I saw the job opening, I applied online and got a call the next day. Within 3 weeks I had already had 2 telephone interviews and they called me in for a personal one, it all went great but I wasn't made an offer until almost 2 months after.

Interview
Initially, I was contacted via email and we set up a phone interview for the same day. After a brief interview, they invited me in to interview in person. I met with two people (assistant directors), one who would be my manager and one other. After speaking for about an hour, they sent in their bosses (two directors) to meet with me for what they said would be 20-30 minutes. This interview ended up taking about 45 minutes.
There were resume specific questions regarding my background and more general questions.
