I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Philadelphia, PA) in Oct 2014
Interview
One campus interview and an office behavioral interview. The second one is very difficult. They sent email to invite me to visit there office building. The behavioral interview took an hour long. Two interviewers interviewed me separately. They all were senior mangers. The one is white man. The other one is an Asian woman. Each one spent 30 minutes to listen to me. It was always me who were talking. They just asked me to tell more about myself and only ask few questions. I wait two weeks to receive the final result. The HR called me that they couldn't give me the offer this time.
It was an on campus placement interview, they mostly asked about my CV and personal achievements. Some questions were regarding basics of accounting like principles of accounting and treatment of depreciation and other items in all 3 statements.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
about my prior internship experience and how i developed myself through it.
5 rounds of interview - 1 HR, 2 technical, 1 Versant (english understanding and communication) & 1 Partner. Partner round can be technical or general depending upon your partner. Questions can range from "why audit" to core accounting and auditing questions
the interview was very conversational. entry level position is not technical at all but you should bring in experience anyways. didn’t get the position but interviewers seemed very laid back and were probably taking the interview from their phone
