I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2009
Interview
I was interviewing for a job in human capital consulting. The interview consisted of two one-on-one interviews. The first was a case interview involving benefits, retirement, and a merger. It was fairly simple to work through and the interviewer was very pleasant. The second interview was behavioral and the interviewer ran out of questions despite the fact that I answered each question fully and for a couple minutes. I ultimately ran out of my own questions to ask the interviewer and the interview ended early.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you structure retirement benefits for a company undergoing a merger? How would you deal with the fact that there were more, and often unneeded, executives?
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deloitte (Bengaluru) in Nov 2025
Interview
It was alright, but I wasn't prepared for the interview. The questions asked were mainly from my resume, and it was actually straightforward questions and if one were to prep a little before the interview it would be easy to crack the interview.
Behavioral interview with 2 consultants. Then case interview with 2 other consultanrs. Then partner interview.
Everything was in person. But now they have online interviews that are recorded. It shows you the Q then gives you 30 secs then you answer
